Friends,
The weather played havoc last week when we had our winter meeting
scheduled. As a result, the meeting has been re-scheduled for Tuesday
March 2nd at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Dave Baer had such a
good experience hosting the last meeting; he volunteered to be our host
again. The meeting will be held in room 203 of the Student Center. The
meeting will begin at 10:00 A.M.
Our program for this meeting will be lead by Jim Bondi. We all have to use
local law enforcement and emergency response agencies when we have a
critical situation on our campuses. Unfortunately, most of these
responders are not familiar with our building floor plans or lay-out of
offices and rely on assistance from the campus Police or Security Agency.
The next step in development of technology is to allow those responding
agencies to be able call up floor plans and even specific pictures of our
campuses using computers at the Police Department or on lap top computers
in squad cars. Jim has a program to share with us on how this can be
accomplished.
I have been working with a small committee to review and update our
by-laws. We will present proposed changes at the meeting.
There will also be information about campus police and security
departments obtaining PPE for WMD. This is interesting and important
information.
If you plan on attending, please RSVP Dave at (303)-677-2922 or e-mail at
