September 2, 2003Dear ICLEA Member, Our next State meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday October 7 th at 10:00 A.M. at Bradley University in Peoria . Dave Baer has graciously volunteered to serve as our host. The meeting will be held in the Student Center , Room #6. Visitor parking for this meeting has been noted on the enclosed map. As usual, lunch will be provided. We have several important items to discuss at our meeting. First of all, we are asking the membership to vote on the issue of our Association paying for one of our members to belong to the Illinois Chiefs of Police Association. Our guest speaker will be Limey Nargelenas. Mr. Nargelenas will discuss the benefits of IACP and how they can assist our organization. We will also be discussing the weapons of mass destruction training for our State. We also need to appoint a new Secretary for our Organization as Steve Bennett has retired from Aurora University . I realize this is short notice, but I hope you will be able to attend the meeting. If you plan on attending, please RSVP me by Wednesday October 1 st .
